The applets here are based on those provided with the book Stonehenge Landscapes. To get the best out of them you should refer to the instructions. The applets in the book provide additional features.
The basic intervisibility applet is the most fundamental. It gives general information about the intervisibility of monuments.
The barrow contents applet demonstrates how more detailed information about monuments can be incorporated. This applet is initially configured to display only those barrows whose contents are known, but the control panel still permits all other monuments to be displayed if required.
The animation applet lets the user examine how the view changes as the viewpoint traverses some of the important extended monuments in the Stonehenge area.
The panorama applet provides photographic images for points along a couple of walks through the landscape around Stonehenge. The panorama at Stonehenge gives an impression of the 3D views that are available in the full applets that come with the book.
